Having been the principal founder of Vero Orthopaedics, Dr. Cain continues to enjoy the practice of orthopaedics, specializing in foot and ankle orthopaedics. Dr. Cain is a member of the prestigious American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. He received his medical degree from Tulane University and served in the U.S. Navy in the Submarine Service following his general surgical training. His residency in orthopaedic surgery at Vanderbilt University was followed by a fellowship in England in joint replacement surgery where he studied with world leaders in orthopaedic surgery techniques. Dr. Cain has served as Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics, Chief of the Medical Staff and as a member of the Board of Directors of Indian River Medical Center. Dr. Cain is an avid fisherman, having a special interest in fly fishing. Dr. Cain has spent his entire professional career caring for the patients of Vero Beach and the surrounding Indian River County.
