Dr. Ofner was born in southern California. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of California Irvine with a degree in Biology. She was interested in the role played by nutrition in health and wellness and subsequently worked in the nutrition field for ten years before deciding to go to Medical School. She received her Medical Degree from Albany Medical College. She served her Neurology internship and residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa and was appointed Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Ofner is Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has completed the first half of this process. Dr. Ofner enjoys practicing General Neurology but has a special interest in epilepsy and peripheral neuropathies.

Personal Biography
Dr. Michele Ofner has lived in Vero Beach since completing her Neurology residency. She lives with her husband, Howard, and their two children, Tyler and Shannon. As a believer in the public school system, both of her children attend public schools. Her favorite hobbies are painting, drawing, and crafts. Dr. Ofner is also an avid fan of water and beach activities and spends much of her spare time with her family swimming, shell collecting, boating and snorkeling. She feels fortunate to have found such a wonderful community to call home.
