Dr. Gonsalves joins Vero Orthopaedics and Vero Neurology after completing her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York Presbyterian Hospital, the University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell.
She received her undergraduate degree Magna cum Laude in
Biology and Psychology from Wellesley College and her medical degree
from the University of Connecticut. During her residency training, she
presented research at national conferences and received a scholarship
to attend the Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Pain Society.
She also received a fellowship to travel to India for three months where
she studied Ayurvedic medicine, the traditional Indian system of healing, at the PVA Ayurvedic Hospital in Kerala. Dr. Gonsalves sees patients with a variety of medical conditions and aims to assist in improving quality of life. She is excited at the opportunity to practice in the beautiful city of Vero Beach. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, attending cultural events, and spending time with her dog.
